A Letter From the Editor

Dear Universe,

We, the staff of JuiceBox, apologize for disappearing into an abyss for over a year without any warning. It was a year full of unexpected moves, seriously ill children, mental illness, job switching, etc. As writers ourselves, we deeply feel how our neglect has hurt those of you who supported us by submitting your work. Again, we apologize.

But, we have a new year and renewed hope. We will officially stop
collecting submissions via our gmail account beginning today---if you submitted and never heard something from us, that means your submission was unread. We will begin accepting submissions via Submishmash today (April 18, 2011) and look forward to publishing JuiceBox Issue 7 in October.

Thank you again for your understanding and support. We still believe, as always, in discovering brilliant poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art.
