- henry ran out of the chapel in church about seven times.
- i had to chase him wearing very high heels and carrying his baby sister.
- my attempts at discipline got this response. “never!”
- violet got a nine and a half minute nap. total.
- i had to coax seventeen kids 18 months to 2 years who were absolutely nutty—rolling around on the floor, biting each other, bopping one another with their carpet squares—to sing. (it didn’t work.)

don’t you just LOVE sundays? : )
Such a relaxing day. Don’t you know heels are over-rated…especially when you have little kids to chase. Just remember, not every day will be like this. Glad mine wasn’t…but yours made me laugh!
me too-
are in there all the time? or are you the singing time lady? that is Rob’s dream church calling.
bahh! i did not realize that segullah article was you. i only know you by your maiden name (though i was still young when you got married…but children don’t pay attention to those things). anyway. i love your writing and your blog. it makes me smile, makes me laugh, is poignant, sweet, honest, and sobering all in one breath. in other words you have a good soul and can communicate and write that goodness. so i’m now joining your book club. and reading your blog.
p.s. you may not know my married name either now that i think of it…it’s leSueur! and i think my parents were just with your parents this evening at a fireside. i love crossroads of lives.
Glad I’m not the only one. Just wait until the third. It’s fantastic.
