    thanks for the fledgling

    fledgling.jpg because of jane langton’s book i still have dreams that i can fly.

    in every dream i climb up on the back fence of my childhood home, spread my arms, take a deep breath and jump.

    i’ll never grow too old for this story. it speaks to that part of me that believes in everything: talking geese, perceptive adults, magical children. that part that believes in flying.
