today i’m guest posting over on the lightbulb lab. (this is my sister’s blog where she chronicles her amazing projects, ideas, interviews, and tutorials. you should subscribe to her feed. really.)

over the next few weeks we’re going to learn how to keep a journal together. it will be fun!

    I don’t journal, but my husband draws constantly in one of these: http://www.moleskines.com/klmbl13.html
    For him, I think it is almost the same thing. It captures his moods and what he is thinking about, etc. I love to go through his sketchbooks and see what he was drawing at different times. I think the key is to enjoy doing it. So that is what I need help with: how do I learn to love putting things down on paper? I never know what to say and it always seems like a chore. I haven’t learned how to draw, so I can’t do that either. When I do write, I feel silly and I worry about who might read it someday.
