cobs of corn

i’ve been too exhausted to blog. (there it is. the flat out truth.) the dentist of the house is gone from early morning until long after dinner is wiped off the table and the walls and the floor and the kids are in bed. i’m not sure i have enough perkiness juice to last through a year of this.

by the time eight o’clock rolls around about the only thing i’m good for is two hours of so you think you can dance, including commercials. (do you think cat deeley likes hugging those dancers after they’ve sweated themselves into oblivion?)

luckily, henry keeps me laughing. last night at the table he was holding a cob of corn up to his ear. “what are you doing, henry?” i asked. “i hear something in the corn,” he said.

I love that you are in family housing at Michigan, it will be so fun to have so many people in your situation nearby, and then to have family around the corner - that is cheating. I hear you on being too exhausted to do anything after 8. Every morning I have great aspirations to get projects done after the kids are in bed, and every night I watch So You Think You Can Dance, or some show. I lvoe the dancing, but Matt thinks Cat Deeley is the only reason to watch the show.
