look over to your right. see? i’ve chosen it for the book trail in march. i know we’ve been on something of a hiatus, but enough with that. i smelled mud today: spring is on its way. the sun is out. the babies are born. let’s read.
and to tempt you–this book [wow! this book!] is one of the absolute best i’ve read in a long time. it reminds me a little of the book thief. but, whatever it is or isn’t, it is wise and wonderful and you won’t regret it. so put it on reserve at the library and meet me back here the end of march.

Ooooh, I’ll be looking forward to this book since I liked the book thief. And speaking of your boobies…have you tried Gerber’s Breast Therapy gentle moisturizing balm? It’s like a giant tube of Chapstick for your boob! It was what I used with Jacob and I swear by it. It helped relieve my chapped, tender nipples without the abrasive touch of even my own finger. I was glad I read The Book Thief so I might just have to check this one out. I am glad to see you back on the book trail…and so soon! Good for you, two little ones and already reading again!
I can’t wait to read the book. Hang in there, everyone needs an arsenal of war stories for impressing friends with… think of all you can add to a “horrors of breastfeeding” gab session. Plus, it really will get better.
