picture us at Christmas

dscf4908.JPGobviously, your Christmas card from yesterday would have arrived with a picture of our little family. my hair would have been tidy. i wouldn’t look bloated or utterly exhausted. henry would be smiling adorably. joe would look like the handsome swarthy dentist to be that he is. obviously. but since such a picture does not exist, i’m letting you see my little hal in his delight near the edge of blueberry bog in holden arboretum, which delight is only compounded by the peanut butter sandwich in his hand.

  • So I just found your blog…thanks to Facebook of all things. Yes, I am a great friend. Anyway, I love it. I think you are an awesome writer and are so funny and just so YOU! I need lessons, but that is another story. I hope that baby decides to grace us with her presence soon and that all goes well with the whole birthing process. Let me know if you need anything (dinner, time away from Henry, a shoulder to cry on, dessert, etc.) You’re the best!
