    snips and snails

henry is asserting his manhood. yes, it used to be all kittens and dogs for him, but no more. now we run to the window at the sound of a big truck. we run to the end of the sidewalk (oh how convenient that we live in a perpetual construction zone) to watch the diggers and the trains and the cement mixers. we play at the park as long as it gives a better view of the passing commuter trains. we suddenly (suddenly) know exactly the sounds our toy cars should make as they drive up and down walls, across couches, and up mommy’s leg.

where does this tiny manhood come from? how does he know so instinctively that he should care about wheels and hubcaps, loud noises and cranes?

Luke and Henry would be great pals. Luke loves airplanes, buses, and trucks. We live close to a small airport and live on a street on the city bus route. I never knew this would provide so much entertainment when we bought a home in our little town of Mt. Washington. Hope your enjoying your little man!

    • Isn’t it crazy how they come packaged knowing just what to do. I wish we were next door so we could have a play date. The world of blogging will have to do for now… Much love!
