i’ve been having an inexplicable need (voracious, even) for fantasy lately. (have i had quite enough of real life?) whatever the reason, inkheart by cornelia funke, hit the spot. it’s really brilliant–although, i admit i’m always a sucker for fantasy novels about little girls who read too many books.

I know what you mean - I’ve had that need for fantasy for the past few years. I think I’ve been trying to escape reality or something. I read this series last year and quite enjoyed it. I love the idea of books being real! Read the next one, too!
