let’s hear it for the cleveland hopkins airport. it may not be the newest. (hey, that avocado green and chocolate brown is already on its way back.) it may not be the cleanest. it may not be the biggest. but its size is something of an advantage. i’ve never had to wait in line at security. i’ve never been stuck inside the airport for hours during a snowstorm. i’ve hardly spent any time at hopkins, and for a traveler, that is a good thing.

so when i woke up this morning and felt like changing my ticket for the holidays on a whim (to beat out the big storm heading northeast) it was no big deal. a few hours after the spontaneous decision, i am sitting in sunny breathtaking delightful colorado.
